Obituaries

Mary Skudrna 96 of Harsens Island, MI. died December 5, 2011.  She was born April 26, 1915 in PA.  Mary loved the water and her garden She loved living close to her family and kept “food for an army’ ready for any drop in visitors.  Mary is survived by a son Tony (Leslie) Skudrna, grandchildren Ben Skudrna and Katie (Sebastien) Cournoyer, great grandchildren Gabrielle, Julianne and Claire.  Predeceased by her husband Oldrich and a son Thomas.  A memorial luncheon will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday December 10, 2011 at the McRae's Big River Grille, Algonac, MI.  Memorial donations may be made to the Harsens Island Lioness Club.  Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
